Accommodation and Visitor Information

Accommodation

Accommodation in Sydney is best found through Tripadvisor or Stayz.com.au. For backpacker accommodation, good areas are Glebe (an easy walk to the University), South Dowling St and Kings Cross. For hotels, there are many to choose from in the Central Station vicinity. Central Station is a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride (very frequent buses) from the conference venue. It also provides an excellent base for exploring the rest of Sydney on foot and by public transport. Wotif is another option for last-minute accommodation deals.

The conference venue is also a 10 minute walk from Redfern train station with frequent trains to other suburbs. However, we recommend staying near to the University or to Central for the best experience of Sydney.

See the location page for more travel information.
